LEA Course

The LEA is made up of three different exams found below. we have found other RTO’s give you enough to pass. We however don’t just want to give pass, but exceed and become the next Superior tradesperson for the future ahead!

SWP Structure

Class option one: 8am-1pm.

Class option two: 4:30pm-9:30pm.

Total training time 10 hours. (2x5 hour p/day)

Both options run for a two day period back to back. Classes are 4 hour sittings, where you will be trained and assessed on your skills to be ready for the SWP Exam.

LET Structure

Class option one: 8am-1pm.

Class option two: 4:30pm-9:30pm.

Total training time 20 hours.(4x5 hour p/day)

The Licensed Electrical Theory runs over a 4 day period straight covering all requirements for the knowledge throughout the 3 years period of your schooling apprenticeship and the hidden knowledge in the wiring rules and throughout.

The Licensed Electrical Practical runs over a 4 day period that covers all areas required for there installation and testing requirements from start to finish and testing of installation.

Classroom Learning Size

We have a maximum of 8 students per trainer as we want you to gain and have the best experience possible to gain and learn for your finals and throughout.

Professional Journey ahead

Once you have completed all three electrical exams. Profiling is up to date and completed. You now have the ability to increase your possibilities and apply for your A grade license if you have also completed your four year contract.

*Early sign off release occurs 3.5 years from the time of sign up when your employer formally has written, they believe you are ready and competent.

Safe Working Practices (SWP)

Assesses your ability to safely isolate, disconnect then reconnect electrical equipment such as a Hot Water System, a Single/Three Phase Motor or Electrical Heat Lamp.

Licensed Electrician's Theory (LET)

Assesses your knowledge in the form of a written examination on a broad range of electrical knowledge

$700 Per Person

Licensed Electrician’s Practical (LEP)

Assesses your ability to design, connect a meter panel and a switchboard.

Identify visual defects and reference the defects to the Australian Standards.

test an installation including a Main Earth Neutral (MEN) system.
